If before I met you many customers were willing to spend boatloads of money to buy a fireplace made of prefabricated bricks and fake wooden rafters (“pizzeria model” or, if you prefer,”Flingstones model” the Ancestors of Hanna and Barbera...”Wilma give me the club!!" remember?!), today many of them have converted to the right faith of the antique fireplace..

Pompadour plat mantel in decent quality White Carrara marble, decidedly homogeneous in the color of its slabs, decidedly perfect in preservation, sculpture period late 1800s, ridiculous price if we think of how much the costs alone amount to for research, disassembly on site, transport to our storage, cleaning/sanitizing, restorations if applicable, waxing with traditional systems, mounting in exhibition, photographs and internet publications, possible delivery expenses if and when carried out by us with our own means and personnel...
Now that I am listing all these costs I am thinking.
“But how can we keep up with all these fees?”
