Description

THIS LOUIS XV PIED GALBE' FIREPLACE MANTEL HAS THREE IMPORTANT “ARROWS” (POSITIVE, EH, THEY ARE ARROWS THAT DO NO HARM, INDEED..) TO ITS BOW:

A) PERFECT STYLISM: In the sense that this mantel was made with the lines of HIS FIRST HIS ANCESTOR.. The “OVAL FLOWER” (PERFECTLY OVAL) THAT CAN BE SEEN IN 99.9% OF HIS BROTHERS, HERE (FOR PUDOROUSNESSES THAT I WILL CLARIFY IN PERSON) IS JUST ON. IT LOOKS MORE LIKE A CIRCLE THAN AN OVAL.... THEN, VERY IMPORTANT: IN THIS MANTEL OF OURS THERE IS NOT THE CLASSIC PAIR OF CURLS CARVED ON THE TOP OF THE LEGS ..IN SHORT, THIS MODEL IS ADHERENT, INDEED EQUAL, TO THE FIRST MODEL OF THE POMPADOUR GALBE'.

A GENEROUS AND UNIQUE MEASURE: Many people like this fireplace model born from the pen of a Parisian architect who had been inspired by the shapes and lines of the world's most famous mistress (Antoniette Poisson, made Marchioness of Pompadour by Louis XV, mistress of the same his benefactor for a good TWENTY YEARS ..), however, the mantels produced were, for the vast majority, rather small (with widths from cm 105 to cm 125) and could only be put in small rooms.. In this VERY RARE case we have a width of as much as 155 cm, which will allow us to be able to place our large Pompadour even in a large beautiful living room..

THE CANDOR OF HIS CARRARINE MARBLE: Another important characteristic of his: His marble, for centuries called “WHITE P” (THE LETTER “P” STANDS FOR ‘PURE’) and today called “WHITE JOY” FROM THE NAME OF THE LAST QUARRY REMAINING IN ACTIVITY, has an excellent level of whiteness and few gray inclusions, in short, it is of beautiful quality..

PARISIAN FIND, SECOND HALF OF THE 19TH CENTURY ERA, ITALIAN SCULPTURE AND LUNENSE.

INTERLUDE THAT MAY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FIREPLACE UPSTAIRS.... OR MAYBE IT DOES.. A few days ago I saw on the news a scene that made me cringe and that was proposed neither more nor less as a simple and harmless curiosity (but... I say, what kind of journalists do we have?! Where have the Guareschis, Montanellis or Biagi gone?! Is it possible that no one can grasp the real malaises of our society and that everyone turns their efforts to the San Remo festival or the diatribes of the contestants on Isola dei Famosi?!).

The misdeed given as a curious fact was this:

In a crowded and unidentified “beauty center” in Milan, a swarm of beauticians were devoting themselves to a swarm of little girls, strictly from 4 to 12 years old minus a day (at 12 they no longer let them into that den of crazies). What cosmetic care can be offered to little girls who have only very recently stopped getting plin plin on themselves ?!

Well, for starters, one bimbo who looked like a slim Schiffer seriously told the reporter interviewing her, “I just got a dark chocolate back and buttocks massage, now I'm going to get my nails done...” The “nails,” then they showed him, are enameled in Satanist colors and covered with glitter, a mere sixty euro thing!!!

Another six (6) year old girl was being given “extenscions” (sorry for the Emilian pronunciation, not very adaptable to English..), she came out looking like Barbarella, or rather Satanik..

Soon, I am sure, these infants will be prematurely made to grow boobs or have their lips gummed, all the things without which one can't survive in first grade, can one?!

Of course these unfortunate daughters are not to blame, after all they are “educated” this way by moronic mothers, but this symptom makes me understand in which direction (in which ravine...) our society is going, more and more false, far from reality, more and more fiction and less real life... To put it in the Emilian way, all rubbish and no value!

What does this have to do with my antique fireplaces? It has to do with it, and a lot; After all, my antique fireplaces can represent truth, reality, things that are true and right, be, what do I know,a lesson in the history of Art while those little bimbos who are already studying from veline, once they grow up, at best they will be able to understand as right a rectangular steel fireplace rigorously signed by a Swedish architect with the improposable name fraught with k and y and nothing more!!! That one rages in the “SOCIAL MEDIAS”....
