Antique Louis XV “Trois Coquilles Amélioré” fireplace mantel carved in white Carrara marble, originating from Paris and dating from 1860–1880. Unlike other “Trois Coquilles” models, this antique marble fireplace mantel features a number of refined enhancements: a more elaborate and finely detailed central shell, greater sculptural refinement in the shells adorning the capitals, and Baroque frame decoration along both sides. A truly unique and exceptionally elegant antique fireplace.
