Antique Neoclassical fireplace mantel in white marble, carved in the Second half of the 19th century. This fireplace is distinguished by very sober, elegant and refined lines. The front is characterized by a succession of grooves (a typical neoclassical architectural element), which are also repeated on the two side pillars. Plus, the molding of the top is particularly refined. But the trump card of this fireplace surround is the whiteness of its marble: it was carved in a wonderful variety of White Carrara, known as "Bianco Gioia." A marble that is now extremely rare, and extremely white and homogeneous.
The fireplace was carved in Italy, in Pietrasanta, and is authentic, original, certified. It is not of new production, but 100% genuine.
