Preliminary note: The fireplace in the photograph is part of an elegant renovation project operated by Thibaut Picard, a well-known Architectural Studio in Paris. Click on this link to see the entire renovation work, which is very refined and totally inspiring: https://www.thibautpicard.com/particuliers/leclerc
We own the twin of the photographed fireplace, and therefore - taking advantage of the photographer's masterful shots - we present it to you already placed in its potential posing "setting." Our fireplace comes from Paris exactly like the one presented in the photograph; it is the same “Boudin Haut” model, same quality of “Rouge Royal” marble, same proportions, same quality of sculpture. They would seem, in short, separate at birth....
The fireplace is Louis XIV style (you only need to put one foot in the first room of the Palace of Versailles and you will already find one in front of you), totally authentic, and the sculpture can be dated around 1850. If desired, we can find for you a cast iron insert that fits the fireplace, of the same style, that can match just as in Thibaut and Picard's project.
Please note: the fireplace is disassembled and currently being cleaned and restored in our Campagnola Emilia workshop.
