NOTES ON THE RESTORATION OF THIS CAST IRON INSERT (FIREPLACE):
This cast iron insert will be restored—with the cost of this work included in the listed price—according to the customer’s choice, in one of the following ways:
-
Manually cleaned only (if the condition of its surfaces permits)
-
Manually stripped using a chemical paint remover, for more resistant finishes
-
Finally, either graphite-waxed, as traditionally done, or—following the growing preference among modern clients—painted with semi-gloss black paint resistant up to 800°C
Once stripped and waxed or painted, its artistic surfaces will be revealed in their full detail, and your fireplace will reach the height of its beauty.
