Description

We present here an authentic and certified antique marble fireplace carved out of Black Marquinia marble. This model of fireplace is called “Modillon” and belongs to the Louis Philippe family of fireplaces. Its design is very linear, clean and elegant. Its small dimensions then contribute to make it very proportionate.

This mantel is offered by us for sale at a discounted price, in fact very discounted. It seems almost impossible to find a fireplace of this type, in perfect condition and in such high demand marble, at such a low price... Yet, that is exactly what it is. At Artis this can happen!

We salvaged this fireplace in a large apartment in the city center of Paris, and it was carved between 1840 and 1860. Authentic, original, beautiful... at a discounted price!
